Well I figured it was time to update our blog. Life has been busy and we are starting to feel settled in. We are enjoying our new house, but I still feel like I am on vacation everytime I go somewhere. It still hasn't sunk in that we live here now.

JD is really enjoying his new job. He loves the people he works with and is excited about the change. He says he is really going to enjoy the new things he is learning. I say he better because I am don't want to move again for a very very long time.

I am finally glad to have our life in order. I have spent hours on the phone and computer getting everything together from insurance to bank accounts to buying a van. It is so nice to have a car of my own. It took us sometime to find and buy a van and JD's sister was kind enough to trade us her Pilot for our car so we could get around with our whole family. Not a very fair trade THANKS LISA!

Sydney started school right after we got here and has done very very well she loves school, her teacher and her new friends. She is so excited to be a "walker" and insists on walking home alone. Good thing we live close and there are a TON of kids that walk home at the same time. It has come in kind of handy too so I don't have to truck all of the kids up the street to pick her up. She is so mature and such a big helper, she has made the school trasition easy on both of us. O yea and she turned 7 on the 1st she again got a bike for her birthday maybe this summer we will be able to ride it since every other summer its been packed up or we have been gone.

Jenna is Jenna what more can I say. I love her to pieces! We were laughing the other day because some of the kids were walking around with there hands in ther pockets and Jenna was doing it it too and JD had to tell her she couldn't because she wouldn't be able to catch her self when she falls. Poor thing, maybe one of these days she will be able to keep her balance. She loves being by her cousins and has made a new freind across the street who has a castle for a bed and Jenna thinks it is the neatest thing ever. She did have a break down today and said she wanted to go back to Canada. She misses her friends and her old house. We all miss Canada.

Rachel has grown us so much to me. She talks so well but she is so tiny its sometimes hard to tell how old she is. We are working on learning her colors which can be very funny because she usually guesses but she is getting better! Her and Jenna are becoming good friends and play very well together.

J is growing so much he is already out of his 0-3 month clothes and he is bearly 2 months it won't be long till he passes Rachel in weight. I love him so much; he is a pretty good baby. We are working on sleeping through the night maybe one of these days I will get him on a schedule were things can be a bit more routine. He is getting used to his sisters. Today Rachel was talking to him and he was talking back. It was so cute she was telling him they were going to be friends. He is starting to smile and coo I love this age. We had his blessing last Sunday he looked handsome and we were glad to have most to all of our family here but were really missing our Canadian family. We didnt get many pictures taken with trying to be the the hosts of 60 people but I will post his blessing pictures when I get them taken.

Well that is the low down on us. Everyone is sick right now but J and I and we are hoping to keep it that way. We have been cooped up in the house and hope everyone gets healthy very very soon. I will try to be better about updating our blog.

We are slowly packing up I keep telling JD that I think I am so unmotivated to do it because I am in denial about leaving. I am excited about the change and to be by family but really sad to be leaving all of our friends. If we could just pick up Tuscany and move it with us this would be a whole lot easier.

Wendy and Julie had a shower for J and I and we were given alot of great stuff! Now I feel like he has some clothes to wear and some to grow into. I had a great time visiting and didn't come home until 11:30. JD just shook his head when I walked in the door and said "I don't get you guys how can you talk that long" Thanks everyone! Times like that makes me know how much we are going to miss it here.

Well I better get back to packing AGHHHHHH!

Sorry its taken so long to update our blog. We are adjusting to the change of having a new addition to our home. We had a great Christmas and it was wonderful having my Mom and Dad here. The girls loved having them around and it was really nice to not have to worry about them every morning. Between my Mom, Dad, and J.D. I was able to sleep in!!! J. is a great baby. He is tollerant of all the noises the girls make and besides having to wake him every 3 hours to eat so he didn't have to go under the lights for jaundice we have all adjusted very well to the change. I was worried about Rachel, but she really loves him; always wanting to hold him and is always willing to run grab me a diaper or 2 or 10. I can't tell yet who he looks like. He has the biggest hands and longest fingers I have ever seen on a baby and the sleeves on his clothes are not quite long enough. That should make Grandpa Jeff happy; maybe he will be tall and a great basketball player! We are so blessed to have him. What an awesome Christmas present.

Our Christmas was great, we spent the whole day in our PJ's and just relaxed. The girls (really JD) got a Wii and it has been played alot. Sydney just kicked JD's butt in Mario Cart. JD is just like a kid, he said he gets so excited to play at night, this is something he has wanted for a very long time!

Also, just to let you know. We have sold our house and our perpective moving date is Jan. 19th. We have been so blessed this past year and we thank all of you for your prays. Thank you.

Well Jeffrey Steven Taylor is finally here. We are calling him J. We went in at 9:00pm on Sunday and he was born at 7:16am on Monday, 18 December 2006. He and Christy had a rough go, as this was probably the biggest baby Christy could physically deliver at 7lbs7oz and 20" long. He got stuck for about two minutes and they had to call a code blue on him as he was not breathing for awhile. He is doing fine now except for the bruising from delivery. He looks like a raisin he is so purple, but he and Christy are home now and doing well. I am sure that he is going to get jaundice as this is the same thing that happened to Jenna. Thank you all for your prayers, gifts, and all the help that we have had during this time. We could have not done it without you. Enjoy the clip. Just a quick update for everyone. My blood pressure has been high and so the doctor has suggested I be induced (Yeah!) so we are just waiting for the hospital to call when they have time for us to come in. I am guessing nothing will happen till tomarrow. So watch our blog we will post pictures as soon as we can. Other good news. We recieved a conditional offer on our house last night we will know if everything will go through by the end of the week. Hope all is well.

Its been awhile since we have updated our blog. Our house in the states is moving along we will close at the end of the month. Our house here is not doing much, I am starting to get bit stressed but J.D. is not worried. (Boy now isn't that a change for us). We would really appreciate the prays for our house to sell soon.

The girls are doing well. Sydney loves school and is doing amazingly well reading. Jenna is a trooper hanging out with me all day long. She is a great big sister to Rachel and I love her imagination. Rachel is doing GREAT with potty training. And you can see by the picture she does a great job entertaining herself.

J.D. is starting to get tired of work and ready to move on. Normal after you make a decision to change but he is hanging in there and is really excited to work for the Planning Center.

I had my doctors appt. the other day and I am not measuring as big but my blood pressure was really high. (I do this with all my pregnancys) they will just moinitor it for awhile and hopefully this baby will come before Christmas.

The girls had fun this Halloween. Rachel cracked me up, trotting around telling people exactly which piece of candy she wanted out of their bowl. She was a princess most of the day, but for the actually trick-or-treating we put her in the sheep costum and she kept playing with the bell on it. J. D. thought Jenna looked more like a mouse then a cat. It was 18 degrees and there was about 4 inches of snow on the ground but it didn't seem to affect the kids that much. All in all it was a good time

Too funny. I couldn't find Rachel but I could hear her talking. And where was she ... curled up under our bed. She is so tiny she fits anywhere.

Jenna went to a friends birthday party. They had an amazing face painter there. She had so much fun and was so excited to go.

Sydney's school is having a "pumpkinella" and asked all the kids to bring a carved pumpkin. So each of the girls helped. They took turns cleaning out the pumpkin. Rachel was the first to dig in and maybe did 2 handfuls and Syd said she "wasn't too sure what she thinks about all this yucky stuff" but in the end she was the one still at the table helping clean it out. They each helped design it; Sydney did the eyes, Rachel did the nose and Jenna did the mouth (with J.D.'s help of course) They had lots of fun the pumpkin turned out great.

I read this article and it just another reminder to me to listen to the prophets and get our food storage up and going. I had a "I love that it is Monday Moment" today. My car has been acting up so on Saturday I had it test and my alternator and battery are both shot, so I started working on the car and ran out of light. So I was going to go into work early today, but when I went to leave I had locked my keys in the car. Lucky me. So I shoveled the driveway and tried getting the keys out in -15 Celsius weather. Needless to say I was late for work and things are starting to get fun. Enjoy your day.

This is an image a friend of mine (Scott Wolff) took. He has a sweet camera and he took an excellent picture of Rachel. I love the hair in her face and the look that she has on her face. It is that cute pissed off look that is burning a hole in the camera. Our house is finally on mls. Now we pray that our house sells.

Things are starting to move. No pun intended. They accepted our offer in the states and things are looking positive on that end. That is a huge blessing. We put our house on the market on Monday and now the wait begins. House prices have started to drop around here, but we have been blessed with alot of equity so we have some breathing room. Christy has done a really nice job getting the house ready and has been working really hard and this whole thing has made her really tired. Her visiting teacher treated her to a much needed massage and watched the kids while she got it. I am so grateful to our friends here and for all the help that they given. Everyone will be missed. We will keep everyone posted on how everything proceeds.

After a very difficult week I have finally made a decision. I have formally excepted an offer from The Planning Center in Draper, UT and we will be moving probably sometime in January. So we will be putting our house on the market within the week so if anyone is interested, please let us know. To all of our friends and family we would like to say, We love you and thank you for all of your help and support, it has been greatly appreciated. It has not been an easy decision for me as we love Calgary and all of our friends here. We will be updating the blog with details as they arrive. Once again thank you all for everything.

Just to give everyone an update. I have not yet made a 100% decision, but just to give everyone an idea which direction I am leaning. We are currently down here in Utah looking at homes to purchase. This is what Jenna did when we told her we were moving. Just kidding. This is what happens if you let Christy do your hair. This is actually Jenna in one of her wonderful moments in getting her hair done. The other image is of Rachel when she decided to curl up on the stairs.

This was a small little hike I went on the other day about 15 mins away from our house. It is a good place to meditate.

Just to let everyone know, I will probably be making my decision by/on Monday. It has been a very difficult decision and one that I am taking very seriously. I am praying that I make the best decision for my family.
